I'll take a slightly different lean - even though I am among the most far right guys here.

Both sides of the aisle suck.

Professional politicians suck dog ass.

Idiots like Schumer, Rangel, Boehner, Snow, Pelosi (especially Pelosi) live in the moment, completely oblivious to the train wreck hurtling towards this country.

The train wreck known as a 106 Trillion dollar unobligated National debt. With a GDP of around 14 trillion.

For those of you who can't do the math, that's a Debt to GDP ratio of 757% - which is a historical high, even corrected for all the bullshit that puppet Gibbs spews.

But let's not focus on that, let's pass a Health Care Bill that will pile another coupla trillion on that deficit - just so 11% of the population can say they have health insurance.

Let's publish "good news" that 466,000 Americans filed initial jobless claims last week, and spin it as good news because it wasn't as bad as we expected???? Oh wait, who won Dancing With The Stars? That shit is important I tell you.

But to answer the question put out in the OP - the country elected a President.

What we got was a collection of thugs good at running Chicago. Obama is monumentally overmatched and unqualified to serve as President. At least Reagan was smart enough to surround himself with moderately intelligent evil doers. Even if his economic models sucked.

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not." Thomas Jefferson

and

"Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money." Maggie "The Other Old Ironsides" Thatcher (sort of)

I am adopting a new political approach and will vote against the incumbent party.

"Choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil."

Where have I heard that.............

Yes professional politicians suck ass . . . but the below quote on the lesser of two weevils rocks!

Two weevils crept from the crumbs. “You see those weevils, Stephen?” said Jack solemnly.

“I do.”...

“Which would you choose?”

“There is not a scrap of difference. Arcades ambo. They are the same species of curculio, and there is nothing to choose between them.”

“But suppose you had to choose?”

“Then I should choose the right-hand weevil; it has a perceptible advantage in both length and breadth.”

“There I have you,” cried Jack. “You are bit — you are completely dished. Don’t you know that in the Navy you must always choose the lesser of two weevils? Oh ha, ha, ha, ha!”

Mrs. Mando told me to say that.

Thanks Monte -

I watched the Kucinich clip earlier this morning on a different forum but hadn't seen the Bacevich material.

It's been kicked around here a bit in the past, but I remember back a few months when I would laugh at Representatives like Kucinich and Ron Paul.

So who's the idiot now? I stand guilty as charged.

Enjoy this one.....

Unfortunately we found and elected him as our imperios leader.

How about his response today, through his mouthpiece Gibbs, to the climate fraud exposed in the Climategate emails, "The science is settled." What a joke! I saw this movie. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. I am the great and powerful Obama. Do not question me you ignorant peasants! Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?

Can you say Jimmy Carter II? The guy's a joke.
